Consciousness Performs is a new arrangement for the song Bafana, which was performed live in Tivoli Utrecht, The Netherland in 2018. As part of the performance, Shimon listens to motifs played by the piano and decides in real time what motif to play in response form an arsenal of 8 motifs. For the 2020 arrangement - Shimon composed and sang new lyrics for each of these motifs, adding a multi-part a-cappella intro and outro to the song.
